According to Odaily, Metaplanet, a publicly traded company in Japan, has announced that its board of directors has approved an investment of 1 billion yen (approximately 6.26 million USD) in Bitcoin.
The funds for this investment will be sourced from the proceeds of the company’s second issuance of ordinary bonds (secured).
