Metaplanet, an investment firm based in Japan, has made a significant Bitcoin purchase worth 42.4 Bitcoin for ¥400 million ($2.4 million).
This acquisition comes as Bitcoin trades at $57,652, down 8% over the last week, struggling to reclaim the $60,000 mark. The latest purchase brings Metaplanet’s total Bitcoin holdings to over 203 BTC.
