Offchain Labs, the development team behind Arbitrum, announced on X that Stylus is now live. This update signifies that both Arbitrum One and Arbitrum Nova chains have integrated the WASM VM, transitioning from a purely EVM environment to a ‘MultiVM’ environment.
Developers can now write contracts in languages such as Rust, C, and C++ on both chains, with new contracts fully compatible with EVM contracts.
