North Korean hackers lost over 700,000 USD while trading on Hyperliquid, which saw a trading volume of 11 billion USD following a recent airdrop. This incident suggests there may be vulnerabilities in the platform’s security.

Expert Tayvano had previously warned Hyperliquid about potential security risks, suggesting that these actions may be tests of the system’s weaknesses. In 2024 alone, North Korean hackers are estimated to have stolen around 1.34 billion USD in cryptocurrency.
