On April 25, Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (KBC) announced its involvement in a proposed investment project for the Khoai Chau urban and ecological tourism complex, with an estimated investment of around 5.968 trillion VND. The project scale has not been disclosed in the resolution. According to Reuters, the Trump Group signed an agreement with KBC’s subsidiary to develop a 1.5 billion USD luxury hotel and international golf complex in Hung Yen, expected to break ground in May 2025. The project includes three 18-hole golf courses and a residential complex, said to be the largest in East Asia by the Trump Organization. KBC plans to generate consolidated revenues of 10 trillion VND and a profit of 3.2 trillion VND in 2025. Despite failing to meet business plans in 2023 and 2024, KBC’s leadership remains optimistic about future growth. KBC shares were trading at 22,350 VND, down 26% from the end of March.
