In the first half of 2025, many companies reported impressive profit growth rates, exceeding thousands of percent. The Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Center (VEF) topped the list with a growth rate of 8,341% and a pre-tax profit of 19,081 billion VND, due to revenue from the Vinhomes Global Gate project. The National Commercial Bank (NCB) ranked second with 6,343%, and Saigontel grew by 2,026%. The power sector contributed four companies, with Buon Don Hydropower increasing 1,477%. The securities group had three positions, with LPBank achieving 1,807%. Several companies shifted from losses to profits, like EVN Genco3, Nhon Trach 2, and Masan MeatLife. Meanwhile, the real estate sector also reported significant losses, with Novaland topping the loss list.
