The financial report season for the first half of 2025 has revealed numerous companies achieving impressive profit growth rates. Leading the list is the Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Center (VEF), boasting a growth of 8,341% with a pre-tax profit of 19.081 trillion VND, driven by revenue from the transfer of the Vinhomes Global Gate project. The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (NCB) ranks second with a 6,343% increase. The electricity sector features four representatives in the top list, including Buon Don Hydropower (1,477%) and Gia Lai Electricity with a 400% rise. The securities sector also stands out with three high-ranking companies, including LPBank Securities achieving a 1,807% increase. Many companies transitioned from losses to profits in the first half of 2025, such as EVN Genco3, which shifted from a deficit of 942 billion VND to a profit of 987 billion VND. In contrast, Novaland topped the list of companies with the largest losses, heavily influenced by the real estate sector.
