In the first half of 2025, numerous companies recorded impressive profit growth rates, some reaching thousands of percent. Leading the list is the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEFAC) with a growth rate of 8,341%, achieving a pre-tax profit of 19.081 trillion VND, driven by revenue from the transfer of the Vinhomes Global Gate project. The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade of Vietnam (NCB) ranks second with a 6,343% increase. The electricity sector features four companies in the top list, including Buon Don Hydropower (1,477%) and Gia Lai Electricity (400%). The securities group also reported notable growth, with LPBank Securities (1,807%) in the top rank. Some companies improved from losses to profits, such as EVN Genco3 (987 billion VND profit). Despite many companies thriving, there are still large loss-making firms, especially in the real estate sector.
