Masan Group Corporation (stock code: MSN) has announced its resolution to issue 7.56 million shares under the employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) to 155 staff members. This move raises its charter capital to nearly 15.205 trillion VND, generating over 75.6 billion VND, with shares sold at 10,000 VND each, 86% lower than current market value. The issuance aims to recognize employee contributions and motivate long-term engagement, with shares restricted for transfer for one year. CEO Danny Le and Deputy CEO Nguyen Thieu Nam are among the buyers. Financially, Masan reported Q2 2025 revenue of 18.315 trillion VND, down 9% year-on-year, yet after-tax profits rose 71% to 1.619 trillion VND. For the first half of the year, total revenue was 37.212 trillion VND, down 5%, but after-tax profit increased 82% to 2.602 trillion VND.
