As of July 2025, the capitalization of the Vietnamese stock market reached nearly 8.3 million billion VND, of which 8 ‘clans’ hold 29% of the total value, approximately 2.4 million billion VND. These clans include Vingroup, Masan Group, FPT, GELEX, T&T Group, Sovico Group, Hoang Huy, and DNP-Tasco. Vingroup dominates with 45% of the group’s value, equivalent to 1.11 million billion VND, mainly from VIC and VHM. The company has seen a 186% growth since the beginning of the year. Hoang Huy and GELEX also recorded growth rates of 86% and 83% respectively. T&T Group increased by 69% thanks to key stocks like SHB and SHS. FPT and Masan remain significant players but show varying growth patterns. FPT decreased by 9% with a capitalization of over 309,000 billion VND, while Masan increased by 74%, reaching over 540,000 billion VND, thanks to TCB.
