As of July 18, 2025, the total value of the Vietnamese stock market reached approximately 8.3 trillion VNĐ, with 29% of this value, equivalent to over 2.4 trillion VNĐ, held by 8 ‘clans’ of stocks. The largest group is Vingroup, with four stock codes (VIC, VHM, VRE, VEF) accounting for 45% of this group’s total value, reaching over 1.1 trillion VNĐ, equating to 13% of the market. In just over six months, the capital of this group has surged by 186%, mainly driven by the strong growth of VIC (193%) and VHM (140%). Other groups such as Hoàng Huy and GELEX also recorded significant growth rates. Hoàng Huy has a market cap of around 24 trillion, while GELEX exceeds 157 trillion. T&T Group also saw capital growth of 69%, whereas FPT and Masan hold values in the hundreds of trillions, with over 309 trillion and 540 trillion VNĐ, respectively.
