The State Securities Commission (SSC) has decided to terminate the public company status of Trading Corporation (TBH) starting early 2026 due to serious violations of information disclosure obligations for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024. Specifically, the company failed to disclose audited financial statements and information regarding the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders resolutions. This decision also reflects the company’s desire to withdraw from the stock market. Total Bách Hóa, formerly the General Trading Company, has a history of internal lawsuits, with accusations against the Board of Directors of abusing their positions to misappropriate company assets. Recently, TBH shares are trading at 13,100 VND/share, with a market capitalization of 1,200 billion VND.
