A Company on the Stock Exchange Sets Dividend Date at 11,000 VND/share

Ha Long Beverage and Beer JSC (code: HLB) announced that it will finalize the list of shareholders eligible for a dividend on July 14, 2024, at a rate of 110% (11,000 VND/share), with a total payout of approximately 34 billion VND for over 3.09 million shares. The payment date is set for July 25. HLB has a history of high dividend payouts since 2014, with 2019 being the only year without a cash dividend; the peak dividend was 200% in 2018. Despite high dividends, CEO Doan Truong Giang affirmed that it will not affect the expansion investment plan. Retained after-tax profit is still 285 billion VND. HLB targets a 2025 after-tax profit of 102 billion VND, a 21% decrease from last year, with a minimum dividend of 10%. In 2024, HLB reported nearly 1,600 billion VND in revenue and 135 billion VND in profit. HLB’s shares are currently priced at 350,000 VND/share, up 17% since early 2025, though liquidity is low.
