On August 15, the Board of Directors of EVN Finance received the resignation letters from Mr. Mai Danh Hiền (General Director) and Mr. Lê Mạnh Linh (Vice Chairman of the BOD). Mr. Hiền resigned at his personal request but will continue to serve on the Board. The Board approved the dismissal of Mr. Hiền and Mr. Linh, and appointed Mr. Linh as a Board member and acting General Director starting August 21. Mr. Hiền became Vice Chairman of the BOD for the term 2023-2028. The Board also reappointed Mr. Lê Anh Tuấn as Deputy General Director from September 15. The State Bank inspected EVN Finance and pointed out many violations in lending to unqualified organizations and individuals, violating loan and debt management processes. Previously, EVN Finance was fined 635 million VND for three administrative violations and has paid the fine.
