A gold company fined for invoice violations

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company (PNJ) has received a fine of 65 million VND from the Ho Chi Minh City tax authority for violating invoice regulations by issuing sales invoices at incorrect times. This act violates Decree 125/2020/ND-CP on penalties for tax and invoice violations. In a May 2025 inspection, PNJ was found to have several invoice compliance issues. Despite this setback, PNJ reported after-tax profits exceeding 1.6 trillion VND in the first nine months of 2025, with total revenue of 25.353 trillion VND. The company has addressed deficiencies identified in the inspection and is committed to adhering to legal regulations. PNJ’s shares remain strong at 97,000 VND, and they plan to distribute over 340 billion VND in dividends for 2025.
