A new development in a 100ha urban project in a province about to have a 5-star airport among the top 10 in the world pursued by KBC of billionaire Dang Thanh Tam for over 20 years.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Pham Van Thinh approved the adjustment of detailed planning at a rate of 1/500 for the Phuc Ninh New Urban Area, reducing the area to about 114.55 ha with an expected population of around 14,414 people. The project is located in Vo Cuong and Vu Ninh wards, bordered by various residential areas and a national highway. The project aims to develop a modern new urban area combined with a commercial and service center, with comprehensive infrastructure investment. Kinh Bac (KBC) is the investor, starting in 2003 with an estimated total investment of 4,200 billion VND but has faced delays due to legal issues, with over 1,123 billion VND already invested up to September 30, 2025. KBC currently manages 25 industrial parks across the country and has recently been approved for several other major projects.
