A Series of Businesses Investing Hundreds of Billions in Stocks: Gelex, REE Mainly Investing in Bank Stocks, TVC Has Sold Nearly 95% of Its Portfolio

In Q2 2025, many companies, including NDN, Gelex, and REE, invested thousands of billions in stocks. NDN dedicated a large portion to stock investment, with a book value of 524.3 billion VND, accounting for 42% of its assets, yielding a profit of nearly 30 billion VND from investments. LIDECO, also in real estate, invested 364.1 billion VND in stocks, equating to 18.6% of total assets, with revenues dropping significantly. TVC, which previously invested heavily, has sold off 95% of its portfolio, now down to nearly 95 billion VND at the end of Q2. Gelex invested 5.012 trillion VND in stocks, primarily EIB stock, making up 8.5% of its assets. VSC doubled its stock investment to 1.404 trillion VND, with Q2 profits rising sharply. REE is currently investing 933 billion VND in VIB.
