Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) has recently received approval from the State Bank to increase its charter capital by an additional 6.7 trillion VND through a stock issuance for dividend payments. Following this issuance, the bank’s charter capital will rise from 44.667 trillion VND to a maximum of 51.367 trillion VND, with completion projected for Q3 2025. This increase aims to strengthen funding for credit activities and government bond investments, along with enhancing the bank’s financial capacity.
Additionally, ACB has updated its list of shareholders holding over 1% of its capital. Ms. Nguyễn Thiên Hương Jenny has increased her ownership to 1.416%, while Mr. Nguyễn Đức Hiếu Johnny’s ownership reached 1.142%. Both individuals are children of Ms. Ngô Thu Thúy, Chairwoman of Âu Lạc Joint Stock Company. Thiên Hương International Education Company also holds approximately 1.3% of ACB’s capital, raising the total ownership of the Âu Lạc group in ACB from 3.724% to nearly 3.86%.
