Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) has announced its intention to seek shareholders’ opinions on establishing a subsidiary in the non-life insurance sector. The deadline for registration to exercise this right is October 14, 2025, with the voting period from October 24 to November 10, 2025. This will be the bank’s fifth subsidiary, joining four others, all of which ACB fully owns. Additionally, ACB is currently partnering with Sun Life Vietnam in the life insurance sector. Over recent years, other private banks like Techcombank and VPBank have also established or acquired insurance companies to expand their financial services.
