ACV Airport Corporation Plans to Issue 1.4 Billion Shares for Dividends

The Airports Corporation of Vietnam – JSC (ACV) has proposed a plan to distribute over 21.191 trillion VND of retained earnings as of the end of 2023. It is expected that 30% of the profit, equivalent to 7.132 trillion VND, will be allocated to the development investment fund, while the remaining 14.059 trillion VND will be used to pay dividends in shares to existing shareholders, with a planned issuance of over 1.4 billion new shares, corresponding to a dividend rate of 64.58%. If successful, ACV’s charter capital will increase from 21.771 trillion VND to over 35.830 trillion VND. The implementation is expected in 2025, with shares issued having no transfer restrictions. In Q1/2025, ACV reported revenue of over 6.368 trillion VND, a 12% increase from the previous year, with net profit after tax of 3.014 trillion VND, up 6%. Established in 2012 and privatized in 2015, ACV manages 22 airports and is significantly investing in the Long Thanh airport project, with over 14.300 trillion VND allocated.
