WinCommerce, the owner of the WinMart supermarket chain, reported a post-tax profit of nearly 6 billion dong in 2024, marking a recovery after losing over 599 billion dong in 2023. However, cumulative losses remain near 3.948 trillion dong. As of the end of 2024, total assets reached 18.192 trillion dong, with liabilities exceeding 13.823 trillion dong. Revenue for 2024 was 32.961 trillion dong, a 9.7% increase, driven by the recovery of the consumer market. WinCommerce has shifted strategy from expanding the number of stores to improving operational efficiency, resulting in a profit in Q3 and Q4. The supermarket system now has 3,828 points of sale and plans to open 400-700 mini supermarkets in 2025, aiming for revenue between 35.6 trillion and 36.9 trillion dong with positive net profit. The company is focusing on renovating the new WinMart model and implementing the WIN Membership program in the second half of 2025.
