Amazon plans to raise approximately 12 billion USD through U.S. Bond offering

Amazon is raising approximately 12 billion USD in bonds, aiming to fund AI projects and data center expansions. This offering includes six tranches of bonds, including a 40-year note with around 1.15% yield premium over U.S. Treasuries.

With increasing activity in corporate bond issuances among tech giants, Amazon’s move reflects a broader trend driven by rising investments in AI. Major banks like Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase are managing this initiative.
