American Express now offers NFT passport stamps to its cardholders, allowing them to commemorate their travels through unique digital tokens. These stamps are stored as ERC-721 tokens on the Ethereum layer-2 Base, aiming to preserve users’ travel experiences.
These customizable stamps are limited to US Amex cardholders and reflect personal travel experiences. The service responds to the increasing desire for digital mementos, with a survey showing that 73% of travelers want more digital ways to document their journeys.
