An Additional 100 Billion VND Paid by Former Chairman’s Family of FLC to Remedy Damages

The family of Trinh Van Quyet, former Chairman of FLC Group, transferred an additional 100 billion VND to the account of the Hanoi Civil Judgment Enforcement Department to address damages, raising the total amount they have submitted to 1.073 trillion VND. This money is intended for enforcements of judgments. The appellate trial for Quyet was postponed on March 25 to ensure the victims’ rights and allow his family to remedy consequences. Quyet did not attend the trial due to health problems and requested a delay. His two sisters, Trinh Thi Thuy Nga and Trinh Thi Minh Hue, also submitted amounts exceeding their civil liability according to the first-instance judgment. Specifically, Nga paid 86.6 billion VND and Hue paid 254.3 billion VND. Quyet’s lawyer stated that FLC Group committed to remedy the total of 2.4 trillion VND by May.
