An insurance company issues 29 million shares, increases charter capital by 40%

Agribank Insurance Corporation (ABI) has announced the completion of the issuance of 28.9 million shares to pay dividends for 2024 and increase its charter capital. The number of circulating shares rose from 72.3 million to 101.3 million, with charter capital reaching 1.013 trillion VND. Specifically, 14.47 million shares were issued to shareholders as dividends and another 14.47 million shares for increasing capital from equity. The share transfer is expected to take place in October 2025. Regarding financial performance, ABI reported a revenue of 638 billion VND for Q2 2025, up 11%, while pre-tax profit fell by 15.2% to 82 billion VND, and post-tax profit decreased by 19% to 65 billion VND. In the first 6 months of the year, pre-tax profit was recorded at 138 billion VND, unchanged year-on-year, achieving 58% of the annual plan.
