Analyzing Bitcoin’s end-of-year slowdown as leverage exits the market

Bitcoin’s Open Interest has fallen nearly 50%, signaling a decrease in leveraged positions. Over $30 billion across exchanges confirms this decline as trading activity wanes.

As of mid-December, Bitcoin trading volume shrank to approximately 191 billion USD in centralized exchanges and around 39 billion USD for ETFs, reflecting typical year-end market behavior.
