Announcement of the 200 Biggest Taxpayers in Vietnam: Total Contribution of 794 Trillion VND, Vingroup Shrinks Gap with PetroVietnam

CafeF has announced the VNTAX 200 list, featuring the 200 largest taxpayers in Vietnam for 2025, totaling 794 trillion VND, an increase of 109 trillion from last year. The top two companies are PetroVietnam (77.4 trillion VND) and Vingroup (56.2 trillion VND), with Vinhomes, a subsidiary of Vingroup, contributing 40.1 trillion. This list recognizes contributions from state-owned, private, and FDI companies, reflecting the significant involvement of the state and FDI in the budget. The top 10 companies account for 45% of the total tax contributions of VNTAX 200, with only 2 positions held by private firms. The oil and gas sector leads with 4 companies in the top 10, while the banking sector sees growing contributions from private banks like LPBank and SHB. Overall, the list exemplifies the diverse and vital contributions of businesses to Vietnam’s economy.
