Announcement of the 200 largest tax-contributing businesses in Vietnam: Total contribution of 794 trillion VND, Vingroup reduces the gap with PetroVietnam

CafeF has announced the VNTAX 200 list, which includes 200 businesses that contributed the largest taxes in Vietnam, with a total of 794 trillion VND in the 2024 fiscal year, an increase of 109 trillion VND compared to last year. PetroVietnam leads the list, followed closely by Vingroup with 56.2 trillion VND, a significant increase from 2023. The list emphasizes the important role of state-owned enterprises and FDI in tax contributions, with the top 10 accounting for 45% of the total. The top 10 includes 4 state-owned enterprises and 4 FDI companies, along with Vingroup and THACO. This reflects the gradual improvement of private businesses, though they still lag behind state-owned enterprises. The number of companies contributing over 10 trillion VND has also increased from 3 to 17. The VNTAX 200 list affirms the essential role of these businesses in the Vietnamese economy.
