CafeF has announced the list of the top 10 securities companies contributing the most to the state budget in the 2024 fiscal year, with a total contribution of approximately 15 trillion VND, an increase of 25% from the previous year. Leading the list is VPS Securities Corporation with over 2.3 trillion VND, followed by SSI and TCBS, both exceeding 1.6 trillion VND. Securities companies contribute mainly via corporate income tax and personal income tax, as the sector does not incur VAT. This contribution not only builds trust but also supports crucial national activities such as education and healthcare. Among the companies listed, 8 are private, reflecting the strong development of the private economy in this sector. Additionally, VNEX – the stock exchange, contributed nearly 2.6 trillion VND to the budget. These figures highlight the significant role of securities companies in stabilizing and developing the economy.
