LDG Investment Corporation reported the appellate verdict from the Supreme People’s Court in Ho Chi Minh City regarding the Tan Thinh Residential Area Project in Dong Nai, confirming the civil liability of LDG in the illegal construction case of 500 villas. The District Court established that LDG began construction without necessary approvals, collecting over 533 billion VND from buyers without finalizing legal procedures. Two leaders of LDG and some officials from Trang Bom district received prison sentences ranging from 12 to 16 months. The appellate court advised authorities to expedite legal procedures for the project, while many customers are eager to receive their homes and see the project resumed.
