ASIC appoints panel to probe ASX following failed blockchain project

ASIC established a panel to examine ASX’s governance following its unsuccessful blockchain project, which incurred a $170 million write-off.

The committee, chaired by banking veteran Rob Whitfield, consists of experienced figures Christine Holman and Guy Debelle.

The panel is tasked with providing recommendations by March 31, 2026, to enhance ASX’s risk management capabilities.
