The quartet of stocks from Vingroup, including Vingroup (VIC), Vinhomes (VHM), Vinpearl (VPL), and Vincom Retail (VRE), has contributed over 75 points to the VN-Index amid a recovery in Vietnam’s stock market. The total market capitalization of these four companies reaches nearly 790 trillion VND, accounting for over 14% of the total market cap on HoSE. Since the beginning of 2025, VIC and VHM have nearly doubled and increased by over 50% respectively, while VPL, newly listed, has risen by 28%. Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, with an estimated total wealth of about 9.2 billion USD, is the first Vietnamese to feature in Forbes’s list of the world’s richest billionaires. Vingroup aims for a net revenue of around 300 trillion VND and a post-tax profit of 10 trillion VND in 2025, marking significant growth compared to the previous year. Revenue in Q1 2025 reached 84.053 trillion VND, up 287%, with post-tax profit at 2.243 trillion VND.
