Australia imposes 10-year ban on adviser over 9.6 million USD crypto scam

The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) has issued a decade-long ban on Glenda Rogan for deceiving investors into a fraudulent crypto scheme, misrepresenting it as a safe high-yield investment.

Rogan’s case illustrates the increasing focus on regulating crypto-related misconduct in Australia, where investment scams have resulted in millions lost. The regulator aims to convey that misleading investors will not be tolerated.
