The Avalanche Foundation announced plans to use funds from the Culture Catalyst fund, worth $100 million, to establish a memecoin investment portfolio on the Avalanche blockchain.
This decision was taken after the organization realized the importance of the memecoin segment to the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
