Ban on Using Power Banks on Vietnam Airlines Flights

Vietnam Airlines has issued a regulation prohibiting the use of lithium power banks on all flights to ensure aviation safety. This decision is supported by fire prevention tools and training for crew members to respond to incidents related to lithium batteries. The airline also coordinated with the Immigration Control Department to enhance screening at major airports. This regulation aligns with the trend of banning power banks adopted by many international airlines and is a response to the increasing incidents related to low-quality batteries. Passengers are advised to fully charge their devices before flying or use charging services at the airport. This is an effort to improve aviation safety, although it may cause inconvenience to passengers.
