Banque de France and Euroclear Bank collaborate on tokenized commercial paper initiative

The Banque de France has partnered with Euroclear to launch Project Pythagore, focusing on tokenizing the NEU commercial paper market.

Currently valued at 310 billion Euros, the project aims for completion by late 2026, incorporating a pilot CBDC.
