Mr. Doan Hoang Nam, the son of Bau Duc, plans to buy 25 million shares of Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAG) after recently completing the purchase of 27 million shares. If successful, this will increase his total holdings to 52 million shares, accounting for 4.92% of the total capital. The transaction is expected to take place from August 28 to September 12, valued at approximately 400 billion VND based on the current price of HAG. Simultaneously, Bau Duc, the Chairman of HAGL, sold 25 million shares, reducing his stake to 305 million shares, worth about 4.9 trillion VND. HAGL’s financial results for the first six months of 2025 show revenues of 3,709 billion VND, with net profit after tax of 824 billion VND, increases of 34% and 73% respectively compared to the previous year. This marks the first time since Q4 2020 that the company has escaped cumulative losses.
