The People’s Committee of Binh Duong Province has decided to allocate land to Becamex IDC (HoSE: BCM) to develop 2 new industrial parks, expected to break ground this month. Specifically, Becamex IDC will lease 369.3 hectares for the expanded Bau Bang project and 693.6 hectares for the Cay Truong project, with land use terms extending to 2069 and 2056 respectively. The total area of the two industrial parks reaches 1,000 hectares, with total investments of VND 3.5 trillion for Bau Bang and VND 5.459 trillion for Cay Truong. The industrial parks will be developed according to an ecological model, focusing on attracting high-tech industries. In the same context, Becamex-IDC recently reported a net profit of VND 365.6 billion for Q1 2025, tripling the previous year, thanks to strong revenue growth from sales and services.
