Behind the Profits of Major Companies

In the third quarter of 2023, many large companies in Vietnam reported impressive profits. Vinamilk (VNM) recorded revenue of 16.968 trillion VND, up 9%, with a net profit of 2.511 trillion VND. VNG Group (VNZ) also performed well with revenue of 2.894 trillion VND (up 12%) and a net profit increase of 572% to over 67 billion VND. Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (KBC) reported revenue of over 1.347 trillion VND and net profit of 307 billion VND, increases of 42% and 57%, respectively. Similarly, Viettel Global (VGI) achieved revenue of 11.622 trillion VND, with net profit after tax increasing by 569% to 4.160 trillion VND. Meanwhile, Viet Tien Garment Corporation (VGG) reported the highest net profit since 2019, driven by a 1% increase in revenue to over 2.722 trillion VND. These companies have effectively implemented digital transformation, managed costs efficiently, and expanded their markets to achieve favorable results.
