As of October 28, Vietjet’s VJC shares rose 6.96%, reaching 187,500 VND per share, setting a historical high with impressive liquidity of 3.6 million shares. Vietjet’s market capitalization is now over 110.9 trillion VND, nearly doubling since the beginning of the year.
On the same day, HDB shares of Ho Chi Minh City Development Bank also increased 3.54% to 32,200 VND per share. Thanks to this price increase, billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao’s net worth has reached $4.4 billion, ranking her 930th in the world, up by $95 million in just one day. She is now wealthier than Brazilian billionaires Wesley and Joesley Batista, owners of JBS S.A.
Vietjet plans to issue 118.3 million shares as dividends at a ratio of 20% from Q4 2025 to Q1 2026, increasing its charter capital from 5.916 trillion VND to 7.1 trillion VND to expand business and improve financial capacity.
