At the Techcombank Investment Summit 2025, billionaire Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao shared about Vietjet’s strong growth. She emphasized that Resolution 68 affirms the significant role of private enterprises in economic development. Since its IPO, Vietjet’s stock value has increased about 5 times, and early investors have seen nearly 100 times growth. Vietjet currently owns over 20 aircraft and has ordered 400 new planes, ranking among the largest airlines globally. The airline has transported over 220 million passengers domestically and internationally, aiming to expand global connections with countries like India, China, and Australia. Thao also stressed that Vietjet is not just a means of transport but a vehicle for development, striving to become the leading airline hub in the region.
