SAGS announced the termination of its ground services contract with Vietjet Air at Tan Son Nhat Airport starting April 20, 2025, as Vietjet will handle these services independently. This change affected a number of flights, leading to schedule adjustments on April 20 and 21, 2025. Vietjet has collaborated with relevant authorities for oversight and support. They confirmed their independent service operations at Noi Bai Airport since August 2020 and at Tan Son Nhat from April 20, 2025. The airline has apologized to passengers and offered E-vouchers worth 500,000 VND for domestic flights and 1,000,000 VND for international flights for those affected by delays of 2 hours or more. Vietjet is committed to providing the best service for passengers during the peak holiday season.
