Vietjet has signed an agreement to transfer 50 Boeing 737 aircraft to Vietjet Thailand, attended by the Prime Ministers of Vietnam and Thailand. The delivery phase will begin in October 2025. This supports the expansion of flight networks between Vietnam and Thailand, contributing to regional tourism economic development. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao emphasized the necessity for sustainable aviation development. Boeing also committed to providing a comprehensive technical support package, including training and maintenance, for the deployment of the new aircraft in Thailand. Vietjet Thailand, operational since 2014, has become a popular airline with 33 domestic and international routes, serving over 30 million passengers, boosting tourism and trade within the ASEAN region.
