Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong jumps nearly 300 spots in the world’s richest rankings, surpassing George Soros and leaving Donald Trump behind

According to Forbes, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup, currently has a net worth of $7.5 billion, ranking 414th among the world’s richest people. His wealth has increased by $3.4 billion in just three months, allowing him to surpass George Soros ($7.2 billion) and even Donald Trump ($4.8 billion). Since the beginning of March, Vingroup’s VIC shares have risen over 40%, boosting the company’s market capitalization beyond 220 trillion VND ($8.6 billion). In addition to VIC shares, a significant part of Vuong’s wealth is also in VinFast, now valued at nearly $8 billion. Recently, Vingroup received approval for a reclamation project in Can Gio with an investment of 64.425 trillion VND, expected to complete by 2031. The company also proposed to add an LNG power plant project to the national electricity planning, promising to create more development momentum for Vingroup.
