Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong Receives Good News: Vinpearl About to List, Vingroup Shares Skyrocket

Vietnamese stocks have seen a remarkable rise in the Vingroup share group, with VHM and VRE increasing by 2.5% to over 3% on March 7. VIC’s share hit a record high of 45,300 VND, marking a nearly 6.5% increase. Since mid-February, Vingroup’s shares have bounced back by 10%-20%. Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, Vietnam’s richest man with a net worth of USD 5.6 billion, is also pleased as Vinpearl prepares to list its shares. Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange has received the listing application for nearly 1.8 billion Vinpearl shares. Vinpearl’s 2024 revenue reached 14.388 trillion VND, a 55% increase from last year, with tourism and entertainment accounting for 75% of revenue. Vingroup recorded a total revenue of 192.159 trillion VND and a net profit of 5.251 trillion VND, exceeding its targets.
