On December 11th, Binance confirmed it will support the BNB Smart Chain upgrade and hard fork. Maintenance will begin at 14:00 (UTC+8) on December 16, 2025, when deposits and withdrawals for BNB Smart Chain will be paused.
The BNB Smart Chain upgrade and hard fork are scheduled for January 14, 2026, at 10:30 AM (UTC+8). Services for deposits and withdrawals for the BNB Smart Chain will be halted at 10:25 AM (UTC+8) on the same day.
