Arthur Hayes questions the US government’s potential to expand its Bitcoin reserves due to high national debt. The US currently holds about 198,012 BTC valued over 18 billion USD, mostly from seizures. He doubts the practicality of printing money to acquire more BTC.
Despite differing views, Hayes predicts a resurgence in Bitcoin’s market dominance to approximately 70%, reminiscent of patterns before the altcoin season in 2021. He mentions that increasing Bitcoin purchases by the US may incite similar actions from smaller countries.
