Bitcoin critic Mark Carney’s chances of winning Canadian election climb

Mark Carney’s chances of winning the upcoming Canadian election have risen from 74% to over 82% according to prediction markets. His current odds stand at 83%, showcasing a growing public support.

In contrast, Pierre Poilievre’s winning odds have significantly dropped from 89% earlier this year to just 17%. This decline follows endorsements that seem to have lost their effectiveness over time.

Carney’s economic policies, which include advocating for a central bank digital currency, have resonated more with voters compared to Poilievre’s pro-Bitcoin stance, particularly as public sentiment shifts towards more constructive economic governance.
