Bitcoin-fueled darknet marketplace vanishes in possible exit scam

Abacus Market, a leading Bitcoin marketplace, shut down amidst allegations of an exit scam. This came after claims of withdrawal difficulties, which the admin attributed to technical issues relating to increased traffic.

The abrupt closure is potentially linked to law enforcement attention on recent darknet operations. With estimated sales nearing $100 million in Bitcoin, the actual volume, including Monero transactions, could amount to $300-$400 million.
