Bitcoin market in ‘lethargic condition’ not seen since before US election, says K33

According to K33 Research, Bitcoin is currently in a low-volatility phase, registering a modest weekly loss of 2%. Risk-averse traders have driven yields and trading volumes to multi-month lows, leading to suppressed market activity.

K33’s Vetle Lunde noted that 37% of the top U.S. Companies are experiencing higher volatility than Bitcoin, marking a significant shift in market dynamics. This situation has not been seen since October 2023.

Lunde warns that the low volatility period may not last long. Current CME Bitcoin Futures indicate a decline in premiums, generally reflecting weaker market conditions. The recommendation is for traders to remain cautious amid these uncertain market conditions.
